From father to son

The tradition goes on

It was at the dawn of his 18th birthday that Patrice became an apprentice in his father’s shop. Mr. Gagnon had opened a store on Ontario Street in Montreal in the 1950s and his son joined him in January 1977 to learn his father’s trade. With ready-to-wear taking over, the store closed in 1999 and Patrice moved into his own private studio.

From tailor to costume designer

In the 90s, in an effort to unleash his creativity, he developed a passion for stage costumes, specializing in period costumes for men. Tailoring suits based on a time period and country holds no more secrets to him. His clients include the “Sept doigts de la main“, “l’Association des acteurs russes de Montréal” and many others.
